About Ebbwatch

Ebbwatch records the prices of audio plugins and sample libraries every few hours, so you can see whether today's "sale" is a good one, and finds used licenses when they're the cheaper way in.

How prices are collected

A small bot reads each store's public product listings a few times a day, slowly and within each store's rules. Prices are shown as the store lists them, in US dollars, never converted. Each price shows when it was last checked; always confirm on the store's page before you buy.

We only show stores whose terms allow it or that have agreed. More stores are coming.

Drops and discounts

• A price drop means the price is lower than at any point in the last 7 days at that store, by more than 1%.
• A discount is measured against the store's own list price. Stores that list most products below list price all the time don't count as "on sale".
• Upgrades, crossgrades, updates and education editions are tracked as products of their own, so they never make a full version look cheaper than it is.

Used licenses

Many plugins can be resold. Product pages link to searches on used-license markets and forums. We don't sell licenses or vouch for listings.

Money

Ebbwatch may earn a commission when you buy through some store links. That never changes the order: the cheapest store is always listed first, affiliated or not.
